Quarry Operations
Our quarry operations supply custom grades of stone, processed gravel, modified rip rap and breakwater / armor stone. Our stone and gravel goes through a crushing and screening process which results in a finished product that accommodates our customer's individual needs.
Our quarries provide aggregate materials to asphalt and concrete companies to put into their mixes which then provides a foundation for projects from playgrounds and parking lots, to interstate highways and full blown city blocks. Numast's rip rap stone and breakwater / armor stone can be found bolstering many marine structures and installations for shoreline preservation.

Stone
Crushed stone is a product used for many purposes, including decorating homes and gardens to a base material for paving our roads. There are different sizes or grades that make up crushed stone. After the stone is crushed the size determines the grade, which in turn determines the use. In order to provide the user with the correct grade for their project, crushed stone is separated into different sizes, ranging from one quarter inch to four inches. Numast provides a variety of stone sizes based on the geographical need in our surrounding locations. Whatever your project needs Numast is very happy to accommodate you.

Rip rap and breakwater / armor stone consists of a variety of stone that is used mainly to line waterways and other shore structures like jetties and bridges, and can help prevent water erosion.
Our stone also supplies asphalt and concrete companies. Asphalt or concrete is a composite mixture of sand, oil and stone, and used to surface roads, highways, basketball and tennis courts, as well as runways and parking lots.
Numast is also a decorative stone supplier. Decorative stone is used for landscaping needs and the building of multi-colored stone walls that line residential and commercial properties.
Gravel
Typically, through crushing and screening, gravel is processed into various sizes of crushed stone and sand blends and has widespread uses in the construction, road building, asphalt and concrete production, and agricultural industries. The blended products are used for road base material, as a concrete aggregate, and as an asphalt aggregate. High quality specifications ensure that our customers’ needs are met through a variety of sizes. Our product is continually tested to meet industry standards and customers specifications.

Sand
Granular materials such as sand are used during a vast expansion of construction needs. Exceptional quality is expected of our sand production. Sand is used in the construction of roads, mixed into asphalt and concrete. Our sand also supplies many of the local beaches.

Organics
Top Soil
Topsoil, as its name suggests, is comprised of the top two to seven inches of soil and has the highest level of organic matter content, which includes carbon, nitrogen, microorganisms and other nutrients. Topsoil provides the essential ingredients to growing plants, and is necessary for successful farming, healthy lawns and gardens.
